Superstar OFFICIALLY announces he wants summer move – £600,000-a- week Chelsea offer planned

Chelsea linked Robert Lewandowski hopes Bayern Munich will let him leave this summer transfer window Lewandowski has been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks after admitting that he wanted to leave Bayern Munich after a number of seasons at the Bundesliga giants.

All the big clubs have been eyeing up a possible deal for the man – and although Barcelona are leading the chase – Chelsea are one club that may be very much interested in trying to get a deal done.

And amid all the speculation – Lewandowski has opened up and announced that he is hoping that Bayern allow him to leave this summer – as his story with the club is over – the Poland international said at a press conference:

“My story at Bayern is over. After everything that has happened in recent months, I cannot imagine further good cooperation. “Bayern is a serious club and I hope they will not keep me just because they can. A transfer is the best solution for all parties.”

However – after seeing the superstar make this announcement – Bayern soon responded:

“Why Robert chose this way, I cannot tell you,” said CEO Oliver Khan. “Such public statements aren’t helpful for anybody involved.

“Robert has won the title as the best footballer of the year twice in a row, he should know what Bayern means to him. Appreciation is not considered a one-way street.”

Bayern do not want to lose their most important player – but there is no point in keeping him at the club if he wants to leave He would and could be a brilliant signing for Chelsea – but we have a strong feeling that a move to Barcelona will be the one he makes And maybe that is the right decision at this stage of his career
