Winger wants to complete Chelsea deal after handing in transfer request ‘to force move’

AC Milan are reportedly in talks with Chelsea about snapping up Hakim Ziyech on a season-long loan deal. Ziyech is a player that was impressive at times last season for Chelsea – but he has really struggled to nail down that starting spot and has only started 14 times in the Premier League under Thomas Tuchel last year.

And with Tuchel looking to shake some thing up in the transfer window and freshen up the squad – it has been believed that the club would allow Ziyech to leave the club if the right offer is made.

Now – it has been claimed in the Italian media that The 29-year-old, who still has three years left on his contract, will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge after being deemed surplus to requirements.

His role in West London would be even more limited next term should the Blues wrap up the £60million signing of Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling – and the ex-Ajax star, who can play as a winger or attacking midfielder, is now keen to leave Chelsea in search of regular first team football.

It was claimed last week Ziyech had handed in a transfer request in his bid to link up with Milan after the Italian giants opened talks over a possible deal for the winger.

This is a massive shock to see that Ziyech is a player that Chelsea are looking to sell – he played over 40 games for the club last season and was a big part of the side But with Sterling seemingly heading to the club – Tuchel does need to make some space and this deal will suit all parties if it goes through.

However – Chelsea would surely prefer to let Ziyech leave on a permanent basis rather than on loan But Chelsea need to get their transfer business done soon – as the new season is just around the corner and they have not officially signed anyone – just let players depart
