CHELSEA and Inter Milan are reportedly set for talks over a transfer move for Romelu Lukaku which could involve Stefan de Vrij. The striker moved from the Serie A side back to Stamford Bridge in a £97.5million deal last summer.
However, he has failed to shine back in West London and is believed to be desperate to return t the San Siro. The 29-year-old’s lawyer Sebastien Ledure is set to meet with the Nerazzurri this week about a potentia deal.
And they are due to also discuss terms of a contract. Inter want the Belgian star to take a paycut from hi £325,000-a-week deal at Chelsea in order to get hi wish and come back.
However, even if they do that, then they will still need to convince the Blues to do business. Lukaku was Chelsea’s record signing and they will be determined not to let him leave for any major loss.
A fresh report has claimed that they want a £19.5 fee from the Italians for a loan deal. And they also want a £59.6m fee as an obligation to buy next year.
