Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Southampton youngster Jimmy-Jay Morgan. The forward makes the move to Stamford Bridge for around £6million with £3million in add-ons.
Morgan who played for the Blues' academy before
leaving to join Saints earlier in his youth career,
has now returned to Cobham where he is eligible
to play for the Under-18s as well as the
development squad, Chelsea have confirmed.
He has already been part of Southampton squads but never made a first team appearance on the south coast. He has scored four time and assisted five in Premier League 2 this season. Upon his arrival head of youth development and recruitment Jim Fraser said:

The 17-year-old follows Omari Hutchinson as well as a host of other young talents in moving to Chelsea since Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital took over in May 2022.
