Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly been involved in meetings with the new Chelsea owners last week and again this week, as they plan ahead for the pending summer transfer window.
It’s just around the corner now and Tuchel has been asked what he wants by the new owners. He will be backed, and Chelsea’s board will do their best to try and get him the targets that he wants, which surely is only a good thing?
One of those players he wants is Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona, according to the reliable Ben Jacobs who was speaking on The Football Terrace Show today.
Jacobs says that Tuchel has made it clear to Todd Boehly that he sees Dembele as a player he knows and can get the best out of. There is also a confidence now at Chelsea that they can get a deal done due to PSG pulling out.
