Agent tells fans if absolute superstar is heading to Chelsea –

 

Chelsea may struggle to convince Robert Lewandowski into a move as he fears he won’t be as successful in the Premier League as he was in Germany.

Lewandowski is also a player that has been in the headlines alot over the past few months after he dropped the bombshell that he no longer wanted to stay at Bayern Munich – and instead wants to leave the club THIS TRANSFER window.

Barcelona are the club that he would like to join most – but that has not stopped the club from making their moves as Thomas Tuchel wants him at Stamford Bridge next season.

Tuchel is a huge admirer of the Poland international and while he will turn 34 in August, believes he can still thrive in the Premier League and that is why he got the club to make an offer to Lewandowski.

However – according to his former agent Cezary Kucharski – the big striker does not want to make a move to the Premier League as he knows that he may struggle to make the impact at this stage of his career. Asked about move to the Premier League, Kucharski was quoted:

 “I always heard Robert give a childish explanation that it rains so much in England.

“But I think the real reason was that he didn’t think he could be as efficient as in Germany. Robert was really afraid of that.”

We have seen over the seasons that even the biggest of stars can struggle in the Premier League – even if they are banging in 30-40-50 goals in another League.

There is a reason why Lewandowski would prefer a move to Barcelona and the Spanish League and that is because he knows it would be easier on his body – and easier to score goals
