Chelsea players will now more than have have to make sure they are all sticking together with all the off-field noise going on.
The club is up for sale, but the players themselves have no options but to continue trying to make sure they are a success on the pitch.
Romelu Lukaku is a player who has really been under fire this season for his form, as well as his words in that infamous Sky Italy interview. He has also been dropped to the bench in recent matches, with Thomas Tuchel favouring Kai Havertz.
But Mateo Kovacic, in an exclusive video interview with Chelsea this week, has been full of praise for his team mate.
“From the first day I think we understand each other quite good,” Kovacic said. “He holds up the ball quite good, you can play one-two’s with him good. He’s an amazing striker and we are lucky to have him in our squad.”
